Registering for an event
Organizers share a registration link for each league or tournament. Open that link and follow a few quick steps.
1. Enter your email
Start by entering your email. We'll check whether you already have a player account and take you to the right next step.
2. Sign in or create your account
- Already have an account? Enter your password — or tap Sign in with a passkey if you've set one up. (If your account uses two-factor authentication, you'll be sent to the sign-in page and returned here afterward.)
- New here? Fill in your details to create a player account. You can update them any time from My account.
An emergency contact name and phone are required for every event. New accounts enter them while signing up; if you have an older account without one on file, you'll be asked to add it once before you can register (and it's kept for future events). This information is private — only you and the organizer can see it.
3. Join a team or create your own
If the event already has open teams, you'll first choose:
- Join an existing team — your partner/team already registered, or you need a partner/team. Each team shows whether it's Looking for a partner/team or Has a partner/team registering; teams that need a partner/team are listed first. A team marked “Has a partner/team registering” is waiting on a specific person, so join it only if it's the team your partner/team started.
- Start a new team, or enter singles — you're registering first, or entering a singles division.
For each doubles or team division you'll be asked “Do you have a partner/team?” — nothing is preselected, so pick one:
- My partner/team already registered — choose their team from the list. Don't start a new team: that would leave you and your partner/team on two separate teams.
- I'm registering first — my partner/team will join me using this same link. (If open teams already exist, you'll get a reminder to check whether your partner/team already started one.)
- I need a partner/team — join a team that's looking for one, or start a team and wait for a partner/team to find you.
The team becomes an official entry once every spot is filled and approved. Mixed and team divisions have gender rules (e.g. mixed doubles needs one man and one woman), so only players who fit an open slot can join.
4. Choose your divisions
Check every division you'd like to play. Each shows any requirements — for example a DUPR rating range or a required DUPR ID. If you don't meet a requirement, add the missing info to your profile first.
Merch & add-ons
Some events sell extras — shirts (with sizes), meals, and the like. If they do, you'll see a Merch step right after you pick your divisions and before checkout: choose quantities (and a size where needed) and it's added to the same payment as your entry. Already registered? You can still buy merch later from My account → Event merch until registration closes.
If a division is full
When a division has a limit and it's reached, you can join the waitlist (if the organizer enabled one). If a spot opens you'll get an email with a time-limited link to claim it.
Registering a junior
Parents/guardians can add juniors who don't have their own login under My account → My players, then register them from the event link by choosing them under “Who are you registering?”. Notifications for a junior come to your email. When they're old enough, you can hand the account over to them.
Registering a spouse, child, or household member
When you register for an event, look for “Also register & pay together.” Click “+ Add another person” and choose who you're adding — you can add as many as you like, and everyone is signed up for the same division(s) and paid for in one transaction (each entered under their own name):
- Household member (adult) — someone with their own email and phone. Enter their email: if they already have an account they're linked (and notified); if not, you add their details and we email them a link to set their own password (you never set or see it).
- Junior (a child you manage) — a child with no email or phone of their own. You enter their details; there's no login and notifications come to you. An older junior who does have their own email and phone should be added as a household member instead, so they get their own account.
Anyone you register this way stays linked to you, so they're one click next time. You can also manage everyone up front under My account (Linked players and My players), and anyone linked to you can opt out there at any time.
Checking in at the event
The organizer will display a check-in QR code at the desk. Scan it, sign in, and tap Check in — it's for you (and any juniors you manage), not your whole team, so you and your partner can each check in when you arrive. If you have more than one person to check in, use Check in all. On a multi-day event, check in again each day you play. Don't have your phone? Just check in at the desk.
